Jimmy Stewart is a former US Navy SEAL with 20 years of service to this country. During his time in the service, he assisted in developing Jet Ski training and SOP’s. As an instructor, he serves a key role in iWaterman with his military experience and knowledge that brings our team together and covers all aspects of the training we provide.

He grew up on the East Coast of North Carolina and was introduced to surfing by his uncle at the age of 10.  After years of surfing and ocean lifeguarding, he decided to join the US Navy at age 20. His first station was in Hawaii which is a dream come true for any surfer. During one of his tours in Hawaii he was introduced to Brian Keaulana, where he gained waterman skills from the best person in the world. The combination of military undersea skills and waterman skills makes Jimmy a tremendous asset to our team.
